Barry and Donna, a deep-in-love, funny-in-love couple, who have blue eyes and blonde hair-typical western style, with their friends, another couple Alan and Lynn, who live a healthy Buddhist style life by doing yoga, having vegetables and fruits, and Peter, a cute tall big guy, are travelling across China!! Everybody has a very strong personality. Barry is funny. He has a full stomach of jokes. What impressed me the most is one day when we drove on the free way in southwestern China Guizhou province, he saw a bleeding man lying on the road, instead of driving to our destination by ignoring the man, he just stopped at the side of the road, picked the job to be the policeman to guide other cars pass! Later he told me he didn’t want the man to be rolled over by the passing cars. Till the ambulance and the traffic police came then we left. The moment Barry was a hero! Most Chinese people when met such case would just leave cause they would think it none of their business and it the job of our strong government. I hope people in China, especially the young generation would learn from this humorous, western food-eating only Australian man Barry! Donna is a nice lady and she cooks very good food! I think she should run an Australian restaurant in China!! Barry and Donna, Alan and Lynn, two couples have totally different characteristics and hobbies. I wonder how they can travel together. And then I realized it part of the fun of the tour. Alan and Lynn are more open to touch local people, Alan is active and loud while Lynn is more quite. But they like to try everything, in some way they guide Barry and Donna to travel. And Barry and Donna will show the world an Australian home couple! Alan’s hair and beard style is so different from his Chinese driver’s license’ photo, more like Indian monk’s, in Barry’s word, “monky”(monk and monkey), haha~ Lynn is nice, a good listener, considerable and kind. And we have a single man Peter, who always feels happy seeing Alan and Lynn quarrelling. Then he would think “haha, I’m happy I’m single.” His dream is to find a nice Chinese girl and carry her home. We will see. Hehe~ What they are doing is like living in a dream, like a gypsy’s life, exploring the world. Here I wish them to be healthy and happy all the time!
